About the customer

BOBO Home is a Danish online furniture and home décor retailer selling across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. With over 25,000 products and a curated mix of European brands, they set out to make buying furniture online easy, safe, and inspiring. But with that catalog spread across three markets, one challenge is hard to avoid: what sells in one country doesn’t always translate to another.

The challenge

Before Pages, BOBO Home managed their category pages using ScanNet’s standard sorting — showing the bestsellers from the past 30 days across all markets combined. On top of that, the team maintained manual product rankings to handle exceptions and keep key pages relevant.

The problem with this setup was twofold. First, the bestseller logic was market-blind: a piece of furniture that sells well in Denmark might be slow-moving in Sweden or Norway, but every shopper saw the same list regardless of where they were browsing from.

Second, any refinement beyond the default sorting required hands-on work. Surfacing new arrivals, campaign items, or higher-margin products meant someone had to go in and make manual changes. It was a maintenance burden that scaled with the business.

The solution

With Pages, every category page becomes dynamic — what appears at the top adjusts automatically, rather than sitting fixed until someone manually updates it. Sorting works on three levels:

Boosts let BOBO Home prioritize what matters in a given moment.

As Christian puts it, they can now “to a greater extent show the products we have the best earnings on, new arrivals, campaign items, and more” — without touching a single page manually.

The results (A/B split test)

To measure the impact of Pages, BOBO Home ran an A/B test comparing their existing ScanNet category pages against Hello Retail Pages — split evenly across desktop and mobile visitors over an eight-week period.

The test also showed a slight improvement in engagement and a reduction in bounce rate. And beyond the revenue impact, Christian points to two further wins: “Both in terms of personalization and because it also gives us a faster website than our old solution.”

What’s next

BOBO Home’s next focus is automation. “Automating our bestseller category and new arrivals landing page,” Christian explains, “where with the old solution we had to do manual tasks to keep it updated.”

Beyond automation, they’re also planning to build margin into the mix — using Pages to surface higher-margin products at the category level, with the aim, as Christian puts it, to “hopefully improve earnings per category.”
