Product Agents bring agentic AI to ecommerce retention. They decide what emails to send in real time, choosing the right content, products, and send time for each customer. Added to your existing Klaviyo setup, they continuously adapt as inventory, prices, and purchase behavior change.

This release is all about maximizing revenue from existing customers. Traditional email automation uses fixed rules and segments. You define the trigger, the timing, and the content. Product Agents work the other way around. They continuously evaluate your entire customer base against your full product catalog and decide when a message is worth sending.

Each agent evaluates product availability, price changes, and customer signals in real time, powered by Product Intelligence, the AI backbone behind Hello Retail’s search and recommendations.

Personalized timing based on individual purchases

Using individual product cycles, the Agents predict the exact day a customer is ready to repurchase. You reach them at peak intent, not a week too early and not a day too late.

Product Agents identify the next logical step in each customer journey, whether that’s an accessory, an upgrade, or a relevant alternative at the right moment.

Messages created for the moment

Product Agents generate each message in real time, adapting content and recommendations to the individual customer and trigger.

How it works

Six specialized agents ship in this release: Price Drop (Viewed), Price Drop (Alternative), Price Drop (Replenishment), Replenishment Reminder, Recommended Addons, and Alternative Picks.

Agents coordinate to prevent over-messaging. There’s a hard limit of one Product Agent email per recipient per day, plus optional custom frequency caps per channel. If multiple agents qualify at the same time, only the most relevant message is sent.

The Klaviyo integration is the central engineering choice in this release. Product Agents do not replace Klaviyo. They connect via API, trigger within an existing Klaviyo flow, and pass agent-generated content as event properties that populate your template. Most stores are up and running within a few hours.

Pricing

Product Agents use consumption-based pricing. One credit is used each time a message is handed off to your email channel. Skipped and test messages don’t use credits. Enable Auto-Overage to keep agents running if your balance runs out, with a cap you set.
