What are Product Agents?
Product Agents are AI agents that autonomously decide what emails to send, when to send them, and which products to feature — based on real-time product data, customer behavior, and purchase history.
How do Product Agents differ from traditional email automation?
Traditional email automation uses fixed rules and segments — you define the trigger, the timing, and the content. Product Agents work the other way around: they continuously evaluate your entire customer base against your full product catalog and decide when a message is worth sending.
Do Product Agents replace Klaviyo?
No. Product Agents integrate directly with Klaviyo, trigger within a simple flow, and use your email templates. They complement your setup, not replace it.
How does an agent decide when to send an email?
Each trigger goes through a structured evaluation — is the message still relevant, is the timing right, has the customer received something recently? Messages may be delayed or skipped entirely if they're no longer relevant. The goal is more relevant emails.
How often will my customers receive emails from Product Agents?
There's a hard limit of one Product Agent email per recipient per day. You can also set custom frequency caps per channel — for example, no more than three per month. If multiple agents qualify at the same time, only the most relevant message is sent.
How does the Klaviyo integration work?
Product Agents connect to Klaviyo via API. When an agent sends a message, it triggers a Klaviyo flow and passes the agent-generated content — subject line, headline, body, and product picks — as event properties that populate your template.
How do I know if Product Agents are working?
The dashboard shows scheduled, sent, and skipped messages. The Preview tab lets you inspect the content of any sent email. Open rates, clicks, and revenue are tracked in Klaviyo.
How long does setup take?
Most stores are up and running within a few hours — connect your Klaviyo account, configure a flow and template, and enable the agents you want. No complex flow-building required.
How are credits used?
One credit is used each time a message is handed off to your email channel. Skipped and test messages don't use credits. You can monitor usage in the billing dashboard.
Do I need to worry about sending pausing if I run out of credits?
Not if you enable Auto-Overage. When your balance runs out, credits are purchased automatically so your agents keep running without interruption. You can set a cap to stay in control of spend.
