The Hello Retail Shopify integration now ingests **metafields** and **nested product references**, so we work from a more complete picture of your catalog.

## What's new

- **Metafields.** Custom Shopify metafields on products and variants now flow into Hello Retail. Specs, ingredients, fit, materials, season, and any other structured attributes you maintain in Shopify are now available to the personalization engine.
- **Nested product references.** Relationships between products in Shopify, like accessory pairings, components, and bundles, come through as structured references rather than flattened text.

## Why it matters

Recommendations, Search, and Product Agents all run on the catalog data Hello Retail receives. The richer that data, the better the matches. Metafields and nested references let us reason about products the way you've actually modeled them, which translates into more accurate product content on the storefront and better recommendation results across the board.

## Availability

Available to all Hello Retail customers using the Shopify integration. No setup needed beyond the standard Shopify connection.
