American Business Development Representative


Hello Retail is growing rapidly – and we are looking for an American Business Development Representative to be part of our future sales team covering the US market. Are you a fast learner, ambitious and proactive, generally interested in the E-commerce industry, interested in developing your negotiation and value-based sales skills even more, you might the one we are looking for. 

We need you to join our fantastic team in Copenhagen, Denmark, to ensure that we will continue to attract the SMB customer segment in the American market. 

Hello Retail is the market leader in the Nordic countries within Personalization and Conversion rate optimization (CRO) for the E-commerce market.


  • You will work closely with the sales manager and your other new colleagues to scale the US market.
  • You will be responsible for prospecting and scheduling meetings with SMB webshops for the Account Executive and you will handle the entire prospecting phase of the sales process.
  • Over time, you will take part in developing the best in class outbound prospecting strategy to ensure a high outbound level. 


Once you have booked and confirmed a meeting, you will hand over the account to the Account Executive. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and the Account Executive to strengthen your skills in the full sales cycle and plan accordingly when you will take on the full responsibility to close deals yourself.


  • You speak English fluently. 
  • You aim to surpass goals and expectations.
  • You work independently
  • Experience from B2B sales or digital services (preferably SaaS solutions) is preferred but not mandatory
  • You are disciplined in your duties and understand the importance of CRM.
  • You  know it requires effort and team spirit to ensure a profit-creating and fun workplace.
  • You like to listen to music and perhaps even have fun with your colleagues on Fridays.

  • You have outstanding English communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to adapt to a fast and dynamic environment.
  • Own drive, self motivation and creativity.
  • Eye on the ball – you must be able to work systematically and methodically to consistently achieve your goals.
  • The ability to explain technical solutions in a simple and easy-to-understand manner – E-commerce experience will be a plus.
